NMR has become one of the most powerful biophysical techniques with a wide range of applications, and yet many regard it as being difficult to understand. This attitude is not confined to undergraduates, although they are the perceived market forAIt NMR Primerfor Life Scientists. Indeed, the book is based on a lecture course for final year undergraduates. There are several other books on the market which have similar aims to this one, but they are generally longer and more expensive. This volume is attractively priced, fairly up-to-date, and generally devoid of equations. It has 12.5 A4-sized pages, with plenty of diagrams. The length of the book is such that it is not too intimidating for the student purchaser, but some compromises of the depth and range of subject material are inevitable.
